Oh please don't get me started on poor spelling and grammar.

I was always a good speller at school and all through life my friends have used me as a dictionary.

That is, until I had my bicycle/car accident 14 months ago in which I suffered (among a lot of other things) some head impact injuries.

I now struggle with spelling a lot, even fairly basic words. It's quite disturbing for me to have to look up words, or use spell check when I never had to do it in the past. It doesn't seem to be improving either.

Funny add though, I've been laughing at them all my life.

Most of this sort of thing stems from the 'you tried so here's a ribbon' attitude to schooling that crept in all those years ago. This country will pay for it in one way or another. The sad thing about it is that type of 'close enough is good enough - and you're wrong for having a go at me over it' attitude is rife among young people of working age now. Many think it is perfectly normal.
