I have N67 rims at home, even a NOS one from memory. I know of a local van that had them new and still has the spare. Over half of HZ Sandman will have had N67 rims new!
Just curious as to how many other people raced out and checked their tyre hanger after reading this thread only to find (like me )
that the winch and cup were missing.....
or had the wrong one for the rallye rims?? :errf:
HZ Jasmine Yellow Windowless Sandman, now being driven everywhere and is finished!
HZ Madeira Red Windowless sandman now Sold to Bigrob
HX Mandarin Red Sandman Ute finished, and club registered
1979 HZ malachite windowless van with 308 5spd, all chromed up and shiny finished and named "The Player"
Married to RodneyHZ253
Mine is a 3/79 HZ which would have had N67 rims standard. It has N66 rims on it now but still has an N67 spare with the big disc retainer on the winch.

Hmm, so its my understanding the spare wheels lives underneath the Sandman? :Chin:
Is this the N67 whinch without the lifting plate?

They go in the bin, or like my old HJ Kingswood ute (not Sandman but had N66 rims) the whole lot goes in the shed and stays there for some obscure reason!
