    I agree. For $65k you'll buy a HG or HQ GTS350 or a 5litre HK GTS, both are far more collectable and easier to sell again for similar money.

    Never hurts to ask top $ I suppose, but you'll end up owning it forever though!

    Succinct point Byron, 65K does buy a lot of Holden generally. Maybe Cv8 also....for instance ? Or am I below the mark there these days?

    If you want a higher kM one I have seen them as low as $13-$14k. I'm about to list my silver auto (117,000kM) example for about $17k.

    They're getting bloody cheap. I keep seeing them advertised and get mighty tempted but I'd probably have to sell one of my older Holden's and just can't bring myself to do that.

    I wonder what Shannons insurance would value it at. I guess its only worth what someone is willing to pay to buy one.

    If you use the trovit.com search engine and then go to the trovit Australia site you'll see lots of Overlanders for sale. Utes and Vans. Even a few wagons that have been converted.
