Vinyl paint is great. Ive had mine done for years, with kids climbing over the console etc and never really had a problem. Make sure you specifically ask for vinyl paint when you get stuff made up, as obviously its specific for the purpose, but its very good. I was told that a lot of stuff from the factory is plastic or vinyl that's sprayed anyway. Just a more professional process though I guess.
