I've never understood how Biante (and others) make money on these, the new castings I've seen are so immaculate, they just did a 1/18 S1 XJ6 jag, last year, bonnet opens correctly (tricky), engine detail is awesome, all doors open, steering wheel turns driving wheels (of course) and even the suspension works, limited edition only made 5000, was avail in Australia for $160 AUD.... had to wonder how they could profit on that...
But I spose they make their money up selling stuff like the same classic popular castings (Like that Valencia HZ) over and over again. Cool to know about the HQ comming out, I've seen the valencia HZ's, havent seen an HX yet though (would be easy for them to do though, use the same cast as HZ, that cast is good, but not quite perfect - if its the one I'm thinking of.)
The detail on Biantes newer stuff is really good.
Whoever makes their clay models is talented!! Believe it or not I'm actually looking for a 1/18 Mitsubishi TP Magna atm... (no one makes em as far as I can see), I dunno if theres a market for that,... but little hint if anyone from Biante is listening... go the Magna, LOL.
