Do people actually pay these prices???

If I need a part that costs more than $100 then I prefer to just buy a whole car. Although then I have the problem of not wanting to pull parts off it cause it's too good to pull apart. If timed right I can pick them up and take them straight to the farm, that way the missus doesnt see it and I don't get in trouble.

It's funny how often you can get a whole car for a little bit more than parts off one.

Last parts car I bought was an original rust free UC Sunbird a mate was going to wreck. I originally only wanted the doors off it for my LH, but he wanted 1000 for the doors or 1200 for the whole car...Wasn't a hard decision. Sold a few things off it, made around half the money back and still got the doors.
They really are mint doors lol.

Yep, the beauty of buying the whole car is that you get so many small parts, nuts and bolts, etc, that saves so much time when you are looking for something to just finish a job. I lost a bolt out of a brake caliper on one of my Toranas and only had to go behind the shed to a front end and grab the correct bolt. It was a 50km round trip to town to TRY to find one otherwise. Spare cars are great parts bins.
