Works out at about $72.20 each arm rest. You would have to sell them each at about $100 bucks a piece to make a worthwhile profit margin. Sounds exxy? What do you think? Good value?

That's allowing that it looks like some bags have 9 and some have 8 units. Also for inevitable freight charge. Would have to average out around those kind of figures.

Looks like the average price on fleabay is about $82.00 each unit. That's from restored and new reproduction pricing. So would you spend the extra for genuine units? That's a lot of units to sell to make any kind of coin back from your investment?

I guess if you could get a guaranteed $100 give or take per arm rest it would be worth it.

Big outlay though if it doesn't work out. And you would want to have a good look at them first. They look ok in that one, still in the bag, blurred by the plastic, pic but 30 years in storage may not have been kind to them.

You have to ask yourself why someone who sells NOS and replica gear for a living is trying to flog them off as a job lot!
Why he's already discounted them 25%, and combined with the fact he's got them listed separately for $112.50

Is it just me or do they look blemished, and warped??

Good question. Maybe hoping that there is someone out there restoring 50 HQs. And looking for some value in bulk buy. You never know could happen!

And the;y have been for sale for a long time, dont like his chances of offloading them in bulk maybe if he broken them into small bundles maybe

Yep, these have been for sale for about 3 years that I know of. I'm betting there isn't a full set in there and all the popular ones like slate black fronts have probably been sold already.

He has been trying to sell them separately, obviously with little luck, 'cause they always seems to be on sale.

And obviously Rare Spares have thought better of that idea! Take a close look at all the individual listings for them, I've seen better pieces offered for sale second hand!.................... Not that I'm looking..................... I've got an HQ Sandman. I didn't get any arm rests!!!!
