The difficulty i've found (from personal experience) is that lots of people have $5,000 to spend on a rust bucket needing full resto and can afford to chip away during the build only to end up spending another 50-80g's. You could cut your market by 5000 times for those who have $50,000 in the kicker ready to buy the finished product... hence you never seem to make your money back (if you have no skills yourself)
