'62 Catalina Super Duty. And the rare one is the Swiss Cheese frame type. The holes throughout the frame can be clearly seen, I saw one that had Alum bumpers, and the front clip was alum too. 421 Dual Quad, alum long branch factory headers too. You could also get alum rear end housing and alum drums.
At a All Pontiac swap at Norwalk Ohio I saw a orig factory alum frame on the orig skid, $75,000. It was for a 63 Superduty Catalina.

Was it a Catalina that was in the Movie "Wog Boy II", the one set on Mykonos?

The car that made me a car nut and affected me in a big way when I was growing up in a QLD country town

It was a beautiful black windowless HG panel van with all the Monaro gear - bonnet, guards, dash, steel flared guards with the deepest dish 12 slotters ( I know I know but it was 1979 and I was 14! ) a very very angry 350 Chevrolet, auto and the darkest windows you ever saw! There were Sandmans in my town but this thing was just WOW in my eyes. It scared a lot of people lol.

Not everyone's cup of tea, may even leave some folks here bemused, but it really left a mark on me, so much so that I plan to build one just like it.
