    The car that made me a car nut and affected me in a big way when I was growing up in a QLD country town

    It was a beautiful black windowless HG panel van with all the Monaro gear - bonnet, guards, dash, steel flared guards with the deepest dish 12 slotters ( I know I know but it was 1979 and I was 14! ) a very very angry 350 Chevrolet, auto and the darkest windows you ever saw! There were Sandmans in my town but this thing was just WOW in my eyes. It scared a lot of people lol.

    Not everyone's cup of tea, may even leave some folks here bemused, but it really left a mark on me, so much so that I plan to build one just like it.

    For me its always been Leyland P76 as I have always wanted to carry a 44 gallon drum!!! lol
    No, all jokes aside I am a HK Monaro fan as my wife is. Hopefully one day??? you never never know...
