I've found a fair few so can back up Robbo's info, lots of V8 4spd and particularly 308 4spd vans and utes in 1972-3. Lots with bench seats too. This was part of the reason the Sandman was produced, as the market wanted a van all GTS seats forward and blank canvas seats back.

There were 4 x HQ wagons assembled at the Dandenong assembly plant with L30 M41 driveline. These are all still known to exist (including Jason's car), at least one maybe two in NZ. I think there were a couple from Pagewood as well.

Thanks HK' it appears that a HQ wagon, factory 350 IS some what rare !! I will drop in on the one I know of and get some more details, I think it would take more than 'a couple of bucks' and out of my limit but I find this stuff 'Very interesting'
