Best of luck with your HQ van, there were quite a few 308 4 speed's around in my day. All factory original pre sandman day's. I worked with a guy when I was an apprentice, who bought a new metallic blue 308 four speed belmont van, it really looked the part back then. Would look pretty good now if it survived.

I've found a fair few so can back up Robbo's info, lots of V8 4spd and particularly 308 4spd vans and utes in 1972-3. Lots with bench seats too. This was part of the reason the Sandman was produced, as the market wanted a van all GTS seats forward and blank canvas seats back.
Get me the ID details and we'll see what it really is.
OK HK', it may take a week or so as with my job I never know where i'm going day to day-hour to hour.
