Myles, Dynasty was their (Kiss) album released in around 1980 so pre Dynasty is music before then, Gene Simmons was Kiss Lead singer....Ace was one of the guitarists...and Gene Simmons is on some TV show which I haven't actually watched yet....

Kiss were an amazing band and wore that makeup so they couldn't be recognised...I was your age in 1980 so yes it was light years ago.....

Blocker made me that Signature, its cool isn't it...The ski man called me Mum at the van nats and the name stuck....

without the commodore??, yeah the signatures cool, you should get the sticker made for one of your actual sandmans

Most were driving cars which were 10years old, eh, ht, hr, hk, kingswoods, loads of panelvans, I drove a Hillman, my friend had a morris 1100, and mini's lots of Toranas, we nearly set fire to a GTRXU1, being stupid with fireworks, XY Fords, XC fords...
You only had p's for a year, and L's for 3 months...cost $5 and you just showed your birth cert. went around the block and answered 5 questions, mostly relating to Alcohol which is now wrong as it used to by .08 limit...
these vans were friends, Blue one a HQ with all Stato HJ interior and the only way you could tell was the seatbelts didn't recline...Yellow van was a HJ but have no idea if it was a sandman, white one was BF

This was my first BF van a kingswood not sandman, Byron says not kingswood, but he must have put badges on it...

geeze lucky, a xu1, i wish i had fireworks, not to burn down cars but shoot stuff, trees, birds etc etc, that would be fun, ive got my ps for 3yrs or something stupid, 2 and a bit left, cost like $50 each test, had to drive around for nearly 45mins(which i got pulled over for a rbt, mid test for my Ls, both me and the test person got tested),cabt drive v8s or tow a car trailer legally which is a epic pain, my utes going to be alot like the blue hq, stato front but hx gts interior, did rodney manage to keep his original sandman or track it down later?

No it was written off by the bloke who bought it from us in 87, we had kids and had to sell to buy a wagon...tried to track down the body but think from memory it got crushed and running gear was put into a ute, which would be a good thing to find as well...don't remember the name of the bloke and privacy acts won't allow tracking though rego of the van...we have built this one in memory of it...
Roman candles were what we were shooting at each other with, around a bonfire, the XUI was leaking fuel, we didn't realize though.... we did some stupid things, and I dont advertise that is a good idea...you could buy fireworks anywhere then, probably the stupid things we did with them led to their demise...

not being able to drive V8's on p's is a massive pain I agree, we had to buy a car for our kids to drive as my daily was an Xr8 and Rodney drove a Cross 8 for a work vehicle...my kids always towed stuff though so lucky they didn't get caught....
