Some very interesting views put forward. But let me ask one more question.
Do you think comments made on this site whether they be complimentary or critical of a Sandman for sale, have any effect on the final sale price ? I would think that because a lot of people seem to come here asking questions about a particular car or buying a car that the answer would be 'sometimes'.

Yes. As can be seen more so now as the information from this site becomes more commonly known. As can be seen by some heated discussion on here regarding comments made about a car it can also not help with a sale.
I took photos of a van about 3 years ago for someone in Brisbane. I specifically didn't want them put up here as I had no right in influencing someone else's business. We are all guilty of putting comments up about cars for sale without really considering possible implications. Welcome to the world of social media. For better or for worse.

Maybe. In the end it is all subjective, and if a potential buyer sees people not like a certain aspect of a car then they are only further armed with info they need to consider should they choose to sell it.
In the end if a car is priced right it'll sell. I sold my V2 CV8 a few weeks ago via this site, it was priced right. If i'd said I wanted $10k more than I asked i'd have expected criticism.
