my day started at 3.15 am..:knockout:
left home at 4.20 am and had a leisurely drive to richmond which is on the outskirts of sydney at the base of the mountains..
arrived just before 6am which is when the gates opened..i was in and parked by 6.15 am..
i then went off to the swap meet...
3 times i circled the swap meet lookin for bargains...what a waste of kilojules that was.:confused:.
best thing i found was a mate at his stand giving me a toasted cheese n ham sandwich for breakfast..
all my virtual friends arrived around 9 oclock..:eek:
by 10 am the place was full...798 cars in total..awesome day was had by me and it was great to loose the virtualness of the internet and press flesh...
we set up the sample tail tent on the back of sinbox to do some pre release promotions and was very happy with the interest..
drank coffee..stood around and generally had more fun than a retirement village open day...
left a bit after 3pm and was home arond 5.15...bloody long day but always a good one.
