Dash pad in my HX ?

Looked this thread up to try and find an answer to a discussion I got into last night. I asked old mate why some dashes on the passenger side have a single vent and some have two. His answer was,all sedans had 2, bench seat utes and vans with a three seat cap had 2 so every passenger had a vent and two seater capacity had 1 vent! Is this feasible or can we bust this myth?! Has anyone really made a comparison to see if this is another way of identifying a factory 2 seater by the dash components.

bollocks. ive have a povvo bench seater with only single....and........the left vent on facia was blocked off too. so poor!
