Was the hq sandman grill and monaro grill a black plastic one like the hj/x/z ...or was it a grey plasic one ?

HQ Sandman grill is painted all black not sure if Monaro's only have the inner grill slates painted black someone here will know for sure
Hq sandman grill all black the same as hq ss gŕill with lion holden badge.

Monaro inner slats black .I always thought they were the same grill as mine had a gts grill put on it at some stage .had no idea they were different untill I joined this site.cheers andrew.Originally Posted by hqhzvans
HQ Monaro is the same grille as HQ Kingswood. HQ Sandman is the same as HQ SS as mentioned above, has more black than GTS. I think it was the centre bar maybe?

Those rare spares ones ....would not pay much notice too .....cause they are painted .......Ive seen some grills over time but have never come across a complete hq black plastic one.
i went to an old thread grille identification ,basicaly same conversation,no black moulded grills,all painted.
just come of the fast lane forum some fellas claim they have solid black moulded hq grills,can anyone verify they exist as ive never seen one in the flesh.
Why not contact the Monaro club Victoria for More info call the Club Hotline 0448 MONARO as I am sure they will set you right.
