I sent off an email and this is the reply. From the director no less!

    Hi Jason,

F-10 does clean the carby and keeps it clean. F-10 does have lubricating qualities and generally does a very good job acting as a lubricant, however because it is designed to be used at 25mL per 100 Litres on a ongoing basis it may require a stronger dose. People that have tried it as a lead replacement have not had any issues. I would recommend using a stronger dose in older cars that need lead replacement, maybe 50-100mL per 100L.
Older cars love F-10 as it makes starting easy and vehicles run smoother. Many older cars have Steel tanks and F-10 protects all metal components against corrosion.

It is not just good in older cars but it is fantastic in newer cars particularly direct injection or common rail vehicles, it keeps the system clean and free from water, diesel bug and corrosion and because the fuel combusts better the reduced soot does not block diesel particulate filters quickly.

Overdosing with F-10 does not harm the vehicle.

Please give me a call if there is anything you need to know about F-10.

    Best Regards,

    Daniel Pellicciotti
