    xx7 hz sandman

    Hi guys
Here are some pics of my hz sandman. I was planning on restoring it, but circumstances have changed and I am considering selling it. I'd like to gauge a price if possible as I'm unsure what it's worth.
It currently has a 6cyl auto in it but it's a253 4 speed.
Rust is minimal and it's a very good body.
I have the upper tailgate And.I'll get pics soon.
    Full hoodlining is there.
As you can see it has had a stack so the nose cone and rad support needs replacing. I have a rusty front and rad support plus some decent guards. (whole walk off front) to go with it.
    Anyway... What is it worth?
Here are some pics....zoom in as it is dirty and some of the dirt looks rust coloured but it's not.
Front under screen is rust free and rear quarters are very minimal.
    Any questions please ask.

Here's the tags. I removed them and they had never been removed prior. They are safe away. I have a pic of them on the van still when I bought it if you need to see that.

this pic shows the kink in the end of the chassis rail. chassis number is still fine. I have had a panel beater look at this and tell me its a simple job to straighten it out.

this is the floor on passenger side. drivers side has some slight top flaking in spots but nothing bad.

inside. dash pad is pretty good. drivers seat is missing, gts dash is missing. still has both mounting brackets for the console.

Maybe 3 or 4 grand if you're lucky. All the good bits are missing, Palais white isn't an overly desirable colour, kink in the chassis could be more hassle and cost than it's worth. Best thing it's got going for it is the XX7 on the plates. Pity they're removed from the shell. Even with a photo, it's still not as good as original rivets.

An eBay listing will give you the most realistic price guide.

Hard one bud. It has the plates. $25k in smicko condition. Work back, body repair, new front, chassis repair, correct engine and drivetrain, exhaust, full retrim, GTS dash and wheel as well as console. Full respray, wheels, tyres. More then likely needs rebush of front end suspension etc. in short a full rebuild is required. I would be thinking $3 to $4k would be tops.

Someone will pony up $5K no problems without realising how big a big job it is.
