    Homeland

I was watching an episode of Homeland the other day off SC10. Episode is titled "About a Boy".

At one stage there was a checkpoint somewhere supposedly in Northern Pakistan or into Afghanistan. I stopped and rewound the picture when I saw some tail-lights. I said to my Mrs, what the hell is a HD ute doing in Pakistan? Checked it in slo-mo and it is a damn HR ute. So I checked where the latest season of Homeland is shot and it is South Africa pretending to be Pakistan. This week's episode has Ford Territorys and Hiluxs. So I've been looking to see if anything else shows up but so far only the HR and the Territorys look Aussie made. I'll try and get a screen grab of the HR.

I think it was just over halfway through, about 3-4 weeks ago. The one from Monday has the Territorys in it.

I actually really like the show, big fan of Claire Danes as an actress. She plays a bipolar person in a high level role very well.

I saw a crummadore I think quite an early model. I watched all the taped ones. I love the show too and Clare Danes is a brilliant actress. It really shows you how the CIA work in the Middle East and is based on pow's in Israel. I liked Brodie I wonder if he reappears

In the movie Good Morning Vietnam, Forest Whitaker and Robyn Williams are on the streets of Vietnam and a HQ Statesman drives by in the background.

It's amazing what you see in street scene's in old movie's and tv show's. When they were made it was no big deal, but looking back on them now, it's a case of wow an old holden ..ford.. toyota etc.

I still have it in Tivo. Shows stared at the 10min mark and you first see the HR at 60min, so 50min from the start including ads. You see it 3 or 4 times over the next 5min.

I reckon Tonni Collette takes the cake for acting a person with mental issues in United States of Tara.
