    The part number of the memcal (the removable plastic 'chip block') in the ECM. Easy to get to, just remove the left hand kick panel, undo the retaining screws (2 from memory) and remove the two small 5/16 (8mm) bolts on the sides of the ECM housing. The part number label should be visible on top of the blue plastic memcal (memory calibration). It is the 'chip' that gives the computer a baseline tune with which to run the engine etc.

    Apart from the part number of it, the only other way you can find out what is done to the memcal is get it read by someone who has the appropriate reader.
