Came off a Fascia that was in a WB ute.... couldn't say if it was an all original car... was in the wreckers and had been mostly stripped. Was a HZ-WB fascia though.... I got the fascia for the original radio cutout..

Yes thats correct. The black rts badge is WB.

Hi All

It's been a couple of months now since we looked at these so I thought that I would give you an update of where we are at..

Firstly, pre prduction samples arrived last week for test fitment and approval. Yes, these ones are white but that is because they are pre production. Final product will be black with the chrome edge.

These should be available before xmas..





Mock up with the new RTS Badge inserted..



This is the LX RTS Badge that we did also..





Now, here is some interesting facts that we found out along the way..

There are (at least) six versions of RTS badges across the Holden range including the HZ, WB, VB and VC Commodore and LX and UC Torana. I couldn't find any info on the Gemini's so I am not sure what they had..

The Part numbers are as such:

498394: Emblem RTS - LX Torana,

Chrome badge, Black writing on silver background

9947122: Plate RTS - UC Torana and HZ (except Statesman),

Black badge with chrome border, Black writing on silver background

92001147: Plate RTS - HZ Statesman,

Black badge with chrome border, Black writing on gold background

92009703: Plate RTS - WB (except Statesman),

Black badge with chrome border, White writing on Black background

92009701: Plate RTS - WB Statesman and VC Commodore,

Black badge, no chrome border, White writing on Black background

948394: Plate RTS - VB Commodore.

Mick, I have one of these badges and it came off the dash of a WB Holden ute so they weren't only on Statesman in the WB range. Perhaps the badge with chrome border is for WB Statesman..... although I have never seen one...

HZ badge on dash does not have a chrome border, it is all black plastic.

HZ badge on dash does not have a chrome border, it is all black plastic.

The parts catalogue for the WB has them listed as I have outlined, but that is not to say that they are wrong.

As for the UC/HZ one, they do have a chrome border. You can see a picture of of it here on page 5;

The problem is that years of "cleaning" of the dashes wears away the chrome and you are sometimes left with a milky white border.

they have taken awhile to get here, but we have just rec'd these..
