I totally agree with Valencia. However, I'd go with keeping the original colour, and if your'e doing a full restoration the vehicle will be straight. Very fortunate to have an original black sandman.

Complete black cars never received blackouts.
That said you could if you wanted add them in satin or even metallic etc. But it won't be original. Shouldn't affect the value though!
Innuendo, did they still get the black out in the head light bezels or did they come out plain silver? This wont be a million dollar resto but Im fortunate to have all matching with the original 308 in it.
Yes, still got all other black outs except the body paint.
Or do it like a black XA GT, use silver paintouts. HK GS and TA Torana used a paint called Aluminium for the stripes on black cars.
