Happy birthday for Xmas day BigRob Rodneys birthday is 11th dec and our sons is 21st. We had a surprise 50th and 21st a week apart in 09 which was interesting. We had a nice day at the farm with Rodneys family, then we drove out to cobar in torential rain in the bf GT as it wasn't wet when we left. Roos bounding about and a flood water about to happen it was a poor choice of car for the trip, anyway arrived at our daughters hospital residence and had a great evening and boxing day exploring cobar etc

So Rodney is 14 days older than me! I was also 50 in '09 (yeah, 55 now....that went quick!)
GT was a better choice of car than one of your vans or ute in those conditions. Not that they wouldn't have handled it, but the GT can be easily fixed if damaged.

Cobar's a cool old place. It's been a long while since I was there, but I remember it being in a bit of a time-warp.

Petrol bowser is cool, I reckon I might have been tempted to try to fit that in the boot!
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

Yes rob Natalie said no one cares about history here just go and buy it. I think it looks great just there. We also found an old turntable and I pinched a cool old lock from it.

Don't take that bowser!! My wife has used it several times for a wedding photo prop! One of her photos made it into readers section of Street Machine about 6 months ago. Bride and and brides maids looking under the bonnet of a very tidy Holden One Tonner.

I have no intention of taking it as I said it belongs there. Something's should just be left and that is one of them James

Some great pics, thanks for sharing. I like the railway turntable, well framed photo, getting the current rail in, neat shot I reckon.
