Whatever it turns out to be, it's pretty cool. Jade green with a 308 is a nice combo.

N was possible in HJ Sandman. GTS mirrors and twin headlight front are not standard HJ Sandman.

    Ok, I stand corrected.

    So is it a Sandman?

No problem with a an "N" on HJ Sandman Kingswood "Ute" big problem if it was a Van.
That 60W though I think means Bench seat. I'd be happier if I was reading 60V.

    308, Turbo 400, 2.78:1
    Jade Green Metallic.

Is the W in 60W correct on the plates? I would have expected a V there. Any chance you've misread it?
It shouldn't really have a bench seat if it's a 2 seater, and from some quick googling it appears the W in the trim codes wasn't introduced till late 75.

Yep, Twin headlight front would only have come on a Statesman or Premier in a HJ and mirrors were all standard stainless type. A lot of people fitted Statesman fronts early on though, so it could have been there a long time.

Nice ute anyway, regardless of what it started out as.
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!
