Welcome Red Nut, glad you made it and it's not that hard getting around the site just keep coming back regularly and it'll become very familiar.

    You can always check this
    http://www.mysandman.com.au/files/gu...an%20guide.pdf

The details are very good more like a possible Sandman than a definite. Have a look at the chassis number and ADR plate because HK1837 will probably want to add this to his database.

It may be a Sandman but it may not, you cannot pick a HJ Sandman from ID especially pre 10/75.

It really needs a visual inspection and original paperwork to be 100% sure. However there is nothing wrong in building it up to its original specs, but I would be very careful of selling it as a genuine Sandman without 100% proof. As HK1837 said these models are very difficult to authenticate with certainty.

The body number off the BODY ID plate, VIN number off the skinny plate (if the PSN part of the VIN is different to the body number eg Adelaide build) and the chassis number. This way i'll be able to advise that the tags belong together or not.

Nice colour too - Claret metallic.
