Just found some time to give an update. I finally got down to Helidon to see the van for myself, with a lot of help from a forum member from T'mba and he wishes to remain nameless. But I owe him a huge thankyou. Well the van lived up to the condition that was explained to me over the phone. I feel very fortunate to have found what I was looking for. The owner was very sad to part with it but needed to finance the balance of his HK Brougham resto. I now have the van at home and looking forward to doing some touring. A big thanks to My Sandman and my new mountain man friend. See you in a fortnight.

Wow. Thanks for the response. The owner is going to hold it for me till I can get down there in a fortnight. Not sure about the colour though. I like green.

I'll drive from Emerald to Dingo and give you $12k for it when you get it home, then you'll have an extra $2k to find the green one you want...!!!
