Ah.... So what they appear to have done. Is because they are no doubt digital printed. They have used a thick vinyl. (printed onto white because the digital inks really need to be) The thick vinyl is needed as they can not be printed onto clear and have thicker clear boarders. A bit of a shame you can see the white.... But I guess that's the world we live in. Cheap made throw away society.
Hanging to check them up close. Would be great to make them in some other colours!!!! ;)

Spotted this Sandman Ute on offer at the NSW All Holden Day by Windsor Holden.
Pricing (Includes Framed Poster & Surfboard).
Managed to pick up a Sandman Red/White Truckers Cap and another Sandman Stubbie Holder for $20 the pair as they were packing up.
On the way down to Clarendon this morning we also spotted a Black Sandman Ute at Lithgow Holden proudly on display.

Those types of sales and the incentives that go with them are designed to help the dealers clear floorstock. Holden make up the deals and process the extras and rebates once the dealership submits the paperwork. Holden know what the dealers have in stock so there's no way of fudging the system.
That makes sense as the sandman wouldn't have been a 'stock vehicle'. But the sale advertising did say 'any Holden sold ' in the sale. There lies the technicality.

Not sure if someone is manufacturing the VF Sandman decals going by this pic......or they somehow got factory decals and put them on a VE SSV ute. Maybe the contrast of the picture taken, but they seem a little dull in colour compared to the VF Sandman decals. Listed on CarSales

Saw a new Black V8 manual Sandman ute still for sale in a small country dealership showroom today. Young salesman said $55k drive away then the manager comes out and says $48k drive away.
