I agree it is a tough call. Using the VS SS as an example again, you'd have been spewing if you paid top dollar for the new and limited edition VS SS ute, only to find Holden make another 300 a year later $2000 cheaper and with the new 179kW roller cam, sequential injected engine. However other times like an LX SS, if you'd jumped in and grabbed one early in LX you'd get the good car, if you'd waited past the initial build and ordered one you'd have got the dog ADR27A engine. In both those cases you'd probably have known further builds were on the horizon, however with the VF Sandman you don't have that certainty although common sense tells Holden that if the early ones sell easily to make another lot.
