Those types of sales and the incentives that go with them are designed to help the dealers clear floorstock. Holden make up the deals and process the extras and rebates once the dealership submits the paperwork. Holden know what the dealers have in stock so there's no way of fudging the system.
That makes sense as the sandman wouldn't have been a 'stock vehicle'. But the sale advertising did say 'any Holden sold ' in the sale. There lies the technicality.
