That looks more like a tail shaft has come through the floor to me.
You say it has the bracket at the front though? That's the console bracket. The rear one is either seat seperator or console. Put a picture of the front one up.

Silly phone wouldn't let me upload the front one last night, so here it is now.

I couldn't get a good shot under the van, too much stuff in the way, but it all looks to be of a single piece with no repairs.
    We'll get there shortly.

    What do the tags say?
You wouldn't do that sort of damage removing the rear bracket unless you were on ice I don't think. Can you see where it was welded on?

Someone in the past might have put a bench seat in and removed the bracket...

Thanks damienengland for the pics. It helps visualise what used to be there.

I think I've found where the bracket went. Remember that this van *was* owned by The Joker and he could have been on ice.
These two pics solved the riddle for me.

Look 18v trim is almost certainly a Sandman in HX with a WM. The front bracket is original looking. The rear must have been removed but I doubt that damage was related to removing the bracket.

That front bracket is hj type, so early hx must have had the round holes like hj not the elongated holes?

Elongated holes is HZ, that is the correct front bracket for HJ/HX.

18v trim in HX is definitely Sandman..... I have ripped holes in the tunnel exactly the same as pictured, partly cutting the welds away with a grinder and belting the bracket with a hammer until either the weld breaks or the floor rips... Wrenching back and forwards on the bracket will also rip a hole in the tunnel..... Why do this? To fit a bench seat... Fit a custom console... Remove console and bracket for easier crawl through to rear...
