    VF

I drove my first VF today, a blue SV6 sedan with 700kM on it.

In the last 5 years or si i'd driven VE SV6 and Calais, lots of Camrys and BF XR6 and G6E.

Until now only the G6E I could say was as good a car as my V2 CV8.

I was hugely surprised how good the VF is. The driveline was nice, engine revved out a bit too much for me but the V8 would fix that. Gearbox, steering, suspension and seating is all very good.

So for the first time since the V2 I am impressed with a Holden or Commodore. So much so if it wasn't for the IRS i'd consider an SS ute.

I am very lucky to have a VF Calais V Station Wagon as a work car. Its the best Holden I have driven, hands down. I previously had the VE Calais V and this one blows that away in every area, and its ~$9k cheaper than the previous model.

Is that the really dark one? I see an old guy at my local shops regularly with a VF Ute in that dark green. Agree, it looks awesome. I was eyeing it off wondering if it would look best on my Hq Coupe or HZ wagon. I reckon the sill trims and coffin racks on the wagon would complement the colour very nicely.

Jungle Green is a take on the VY Hothouse Green.
Regal Peacock is almost black until the light hits it.
