Same arguments over and over again from Soccer fans, head it all before. Attack AFL, League, Rugby, Cricket - whatever isn't Soccer. But never addressing the issue - Soccer is boring. The majority of League, AFL, Rugby Football fans never seem to question the skill or fitness of Soccer Footballers, the only thing they ever seem to criticise (apart from the boring display the game presents on TV) is the injury faking. I get it, Soccer is big in European countries and like Cricket in poorer countries where the game has to be a game that can be played on the streets with little kit, or at the higher levels with far less risk of injury. None of that changes the fact that on TV the game is more often than not as boring as championship paint watching. Great relatively safe game for young kids to play to get them away from the PlayStation, and if they want to continue on later that is their choice. Most will tell you though they'd rather play something else.

I am still wiping up the Earl Grey I spat out HK after reading that.

Your usually a meticulous train spotting factual based nit picker that doesn't allow anybody any leeway and don't mind pointing out what's actually not fact but yet, you have no problem with passing out this bit of anecdotal personal dross as fact.

    How, what, where and when?

You are the would be author of non fiction and these 4 words should be your bulwark except for stuff you don't like or understand I guess.

As for paint drying, 2 words, test cricket.

Enjoy and feel free to feast on pearls.

They don't even play the knock-on in Gay FL. I love test cricket. Actually acrylic paint drys quite fast.
Now can we get back onto how many 3/8 bolts a Sandman has.

I'm sure that you and your husband have a wonderful time together watching what ever sport grabs your fancy, nothing better than sitting on the picnic blanket watching a game of your choice with your other half.

Power to you and your husband and many happy years in the future.

Huh? It is like speaking Holden to a blue eyed Ford fan ie little point and a big waste of time.

If you don't like Test Cricket, well there is even less point as you'll never understand. So I give up, not worth the waste of time and effort.

    Was worth your responding apparently.

Dumb comparison actually HK, your only saying the Ford Holden rhetoric because you have resorted to personal anecdotal thoughts and trying to pass them off as fact.

I have to accept you find soccer boring but you cant accept that I find test cricket boring?

What's to understand in test cricket, play for 7 days and get a draw? Wait for over after over for anything remotely exciting to happen? Yeah, wow, marvellous spectacle.

I still respect and admire your Holden know how and you are a national treasure, as for your finger on the cultural pulse of the country, maybe rethink some things.
