I doubt AFL and Soccer will overtake League as a TV spectacle. AFL is awful on TV hence why it gets lots of people to the grounds. Soccer is simply boring, I cannot understand how anyone can watch it, 90+ minutes for 1-0 and the news highlight is: one goal!
Having said all that League has been pi$$ing me off as a spectacle lately.
Everything seems to piss me off nowadays. Agree with soccer being boring on TV and partially agree with AFL being boring. It gets boring when teams flood the defensive zone and the game breaks down into packs just paddling the ball around.
