Thread: Slowly making a start on my new hz xx7 project

    getting close to painting the body now. I've wet rubbed but had a couple of small ripples so I've repaired them, just doing the edges, all joins have been sealed with seam sealer.
    I have painted door jams and the scuttle area in palais white and the fire wall and dash area in tuxedo black. but i want to do the dash area in a satin.

    unfortunately I've already sold it. But I did buy it to fix up and sell, 88,000km car. I was the first to crack most of the paint off all the bolt heads!!!!!... i also kept a few MINT items for the van.
    We can restore cars back to original. But we can't restore originality.

    First time I've used sound deadening before. Hope its worth the time and effort.
