Wonder what this does to the grey import laws? I'm not very knowledgeable on what they are exactly but I understand it is something like that you cannot import vehicles that have been ADR'ed and sold here originally.... so no more bringing in an American up-spec model or say a hotted up Callaway version of the cars...

I don't think that could apply, otherwise you'd bever be able to bring in a 1957 Chev or a 1968 Impala or similar as these were built here to whatever ADR's were around at the time and sold new here. Same with a late 90's Suburban, or the equivalent F250's to what Ford sold here new.
