I think we need a forum rule about this. I don't understand most of this stuff, I was brought up with actual words.

God yeah! Me too. I have no idea what's going on half the time anyway, but things like that just kill me.

[QUOTE=april_eighteen;91950]Good onya young fella, worse things than playing with cars.

I am not knocking your choice of car to play with , my own personal opinion is I don't think much of the WB's, I liken them to the fat drunk chick at the end of the night when she is all that is left, so you just take her home because that's all you can get.

Fighting words indeed! Have you ever driven one? Mine drives like a VK Commodore, not an empty tin can, and the V8 motor has a lot more grunt than the early pollution (HX/HZ) ones!
Vans.... This is the 2nd time round the block, 40 years later! talk about turning back the clock!

Nope, never driven one and never made off with a swamp donkey either, both those things aren't on my bucket list, you can have all those experiences to yourself, I'll stick with the glamours and the Sandmans but, to be fair every Cinderella ( HK - HZ ) needs 3 ugly step sisters so yeah, there will always be a place I guess for WB's, HB Toranas and Broughams.

It doesn't worry me, WB or not it has sentimental value to myself and my family so I don't mind how rare or desirable it is, and its not like I couldn't do a nose cone swap if my curiosity led me to. The most important thing at the end of the day is it will be something I got to build and personalise with my old man.

Hear hear! The reasoning is the same for my van. I get to spend time with a mate of 34 years, teaching me how cars work, and in the end we have a van that we can be proud of. I know people will hate what we have done and plan to do, and they have a right to that opinion. Make your van yours. Enjoy the time you spend with people you love.
    We'll get there shortly.
