The 'origina'l Aeroguard from 25 years ago.

How many can remember?

There was a distinct smell to it, walk at the beach, park and you could tell someone just sprayed it on.
Now, that low irritant odourless stuff, Tropical, whatever other flavour they have, is just not the same.

Opened up a picnic basket I've been hoarding around for 25 plus years and what's there, yes, an original can of Aeroguard. Looks like it just came off the shelf.
Sprayed it then sprayed the modern stuff, no comparison. Absolutely nothing alike.

Funny how small things like that give flashbacks to childhood!

I've got an old rusty can with a few sprays left in it and you are so right, the new stuff doesn't smell (or work) anything like the original.

Mozzies used to stay away for hours, now they laugh at the new one.

It's the old propellant too (CFC?), so you'll upset the greenies if you use it!

Yep, the original performed the best, not at all like the current one. Same can be said for our modern car's really.
