ADR31 was separate warning lights for handbrake & brake fail. The m/cyl reservoir was also increased in size.
I don't think that it was part of the ADR but they changed from cast iron to cast alloy front calipers at this time also.

The post 12/76 passenger HX I have plates for show BHX and ADRs 29 and 31. The commercials don't have 29 or 31 and show AHX. The only other difference I can see is tonners don't show ADR23.
