Mid 67 the 186S superseded the 186X2.

Does that mean the 186s engine superseded the X2 engine or the X2 was dropped? I just couldn't quite work it out. It looks like the X2 dropped the two carbs and went to the two barrel carb.
No offence meant, I love your book and always refer to it! Just found that a little confusing.
