Factory Fitted?

In what seem's like a lifetime ago to me now,and I guess it is, when I bought my Sandman ute,it came with the poverty pack. A 4.2 litre, manual and little else. I fitted a radio cassette and a wiper dwell control,which was far better to use,and a lot of other thing's to make it look different and personalise it.

When I look at photo's on here now, nearly all the vehicle's have these fitted, both restored and unrestored. Did the radio's and wiper control's become standard later, or did most people fit them later? There also seem's to be a lot with power steering.

the fun thing is to put all those accessories on the car to "fully load it"...
the only way you would really know of most of that stuff was fitted new is if you were lucky enough to have paperwork saying so..
