I reckon thats gonna be worth a bit one day not too distant. If Holden close in 2017, well the public dont realise it yet, but they are gonna want cars like this back, and they wont be easily available, I reckon they will become very desirable. Whats a Torana worth today...?

Selling cars can be so dissapointing sometimes. Maybe it's possible to put the price up, not down, going for the expensive market, the rich end of town. I dunno how thats done exactly, but thinking outside the square, I wonder how you'd go if you asked a Ferrari/Lamborgh dealer to see if they are prepared to have it in a showroom for a bit.... (for oh um.... 45k)... why not? it's a great looking and rare car...The last of the Holden vans! It wouldnt look too out of place at all. I dunno what consignment costs, (hmmn...) but it could be worth asking?

Those real high end dealers must get more dreamers than buyers, and for a fifth of the price well, in a dealership like that, I imagine a car for 45k still gets a keyring...... even if mr junior stockbroker didnt get his Lamborgh, he'd got a Lamborgh dealer Sandman.... Just a thought, might be worth the phone call to ask, over the time spent on gumtree? Thats a very neat looking vehicle.
