Looking for my uncles old hx sandman van?

Looking to find out if possible if my uncles old hx sandman van is still alive &out there somewhere? It was a 5/1977 build deauville blue in colour 18v black trim & was a L31 m20 . He purchased new from young & green holden toronto nsw in 7/1977 & he optiond it up with a hx caprice front & also premier sill moulds . He also chose no decal option . As ppl did in the 70s he fitted full rear bumper bar fitted extractors & dual system aunger 14x8 alloy mags 350 holley & lowerd suspension . He had rear decked out in blue velour & mirrored highlights as well &dome lights wif custom roof console in front of van. He sold van in 1983 with 46500ks on it thn tht owner resold in 1986 & was still a newcastle owner. Last rego pl8 we no of was nsw mfb-472. Chassis no= ahx33331a vin= L382930 eng no= Qr860523 & body no= 235932a . I realise this is a needle in a hay stack but u neva no if u dont ask n any info would b greatly appreciated . Cheers .l

Those number plates look familiar. What are they on now?

Think they are on a vs commo at da moment but have been on a few cars since sandman.

If it had the original front it would be a twin to the HX van that I purchase purchased in August 77 from Hillsons Paramatta. I also had the side and rear decals removed, can you confirm whether or not the center aerial just above the windscreen was on the vehicle when purchase. It even has the same seat covering type.

I haven't recorded it before hence I haven't seen it before and it would have been local to me.

No he fitted aerial after purchase.

Hey byron i only no history of it till 1986 but da buyer in 1986 was also local & lived in cardiff & thats the last i no of it.

I've lived in and around Cardiff since the 60's and don't recall ever seeing it, but vans were everywhere in the late 70's and even into the early 90's so I may have seen it but don't remember it.
