Disclaimer: I am not an expert.
Nicer than Mandarin by far. I may be biased though, and mines not even shiny.
I seen you on facbook asking about this one mark. Remind me if I forget. But I will dig through what photos I have tonight.
no question manderin kicks ass. i've owned both

So is Davegmh photo Flamenco????
yes, giveaway is the mirrors are colour coded and HX had black mirrors so you can assume it's HZ. Manderin is not an HZ colour as far as i'm aware. stand to be corrected though

1890 Mandarin is a HJ colour which carried through into the LX colours and then onto HX. You may find a few really early pilot HZ's in 1890 like you find a few early A9X's, but 1926 Flamenco was added for HZ release. A friend of mine has the 2nd A9X hatchback which is 1890-18V, it is the car built for display at the Hang 10 500 (Sandman) in 1977 so CAMS could view it. AFAIK it is the only production A9X to be fitted with a T10 although the mod was done post assembly plant and it never got its new ID plates fitted before it left GMH's ownership.
Nothing wrong with Flamenco

They are very different when you see them side by side. Someone put up SLR's in both colours side by side on gmh-torana and you'd swear Mandarin was orange!
