Well, Mandarin's are orange.

I'm not sure if the words have the same origin but I think the word Mandarin used by GMH in the colour is a Chinese reference not a fruit reference (but they may end up at the same place!). I remember seeing it on GMH paperwork at some stage.

Agree, until you sit it side by side to Sebring orange (also red/orange transition) and manderin looks very red!

Sebring Red is a '70's Ford colour (and that's is Orange) That's what I was thinking of.

They are very different when you see them side by side. Someone put up SLR's in both colours side by side on gmh-torana and you'd swear Mandarin was orange!

agreed, flamenco is very very red by comparison. Manderin pops more and i think is better on a large windowless application
