That isn't one of the Ron Hodgson vans, they were both Pagewood build. A quick check of the engine number will tell if that one was built in the Acacia Ridge assembly plant with a 350, and i'm almost certain it won't be but still a remote possibility. Acacia Ridge only fitted about 35 or so 350 engines to HQ's as the only regular production 350 powered cars they built were XW8's, thus their engine numbers only got to about QU00035. It still could be a dealer build though.
6cyl HQ van GVW was 4750lb, V8 was 4850lb. If the GVW was indeed 508xlb on the ADR plate that could nail it as a GMH 350 as a HQ 350 powered car was far heavier than a 308 powered car, especially an auto 350. From memory it was about 80kg or more.
With the whole chassis number I may be able to find the car, but i'll get onto Fres and see if I can get the owner's name. I also now know why I missed it, far nicer fruit to its left to distract me!
