I had 15 x 8 1/2 on the back of my van, with the skinniest tyres i could fit, and they scrubed.

Do you think they scrubbed because of the 15inch? Im chasing 14inch

Nah it was the offset.
I had 14 x 8 on the front with these rims.
I did put 14 x 8 on back for a trial fit and there was no issues.
