Thanks guys. His demise was a heart attack. We speak regularly as I did the odd work for him on various mine sites and helped him out with the odd bit of technical knowledge or interpretation of Standards, and always shared the odd bit of banter. When the phone rang this arvo it was his number, and as I was driving for a change I luckily didn't open with some bit of rude innuendo - as it was his daughter calling on his phone to give me the news.
