I love Holley's and the 600 is perfect for a 308. You need a 780 vacuum secondary (part no 3310/2) for a 355.

A 308 with a 600, Edelbrock Torker manifold, TQ20 sized cam and a set of 4-into1 extractors with a good ignition and you have a great combo for the street.
