    Wanted buckskin steering wheel

    Im chasing a buckskin gts wheel for my sandman.
    I will pay top dollar for right wheel.

    I had an excellent wheel but sold it as I had a nos wheel coming.
    Paid my $700 for bare wheel
    Turns out the nos wheel was a rares repo .
    These buckskin repo wheels are poor quality.

    so now im sending the repo wheel back
    loosing $70 on postage and have no buckskin wheel at all.
    total f-up ..

    Didnt know Rares made repo wheels in buckskin only in black i thought

    Rares made them a few years back
    Washed out colour
    Poor mold, and bubble holes

    Im crying in my beer.. posted old one today recieved new one tonight ..

    That's bad luck. Reminds me of the advice a mate lived by with girlfriends, never let go of the old one till you're sure the new ones better.

    I knew I had one in the shed, sadly it's not the 'right' wheel, it's smoother than a baby's ... and has the wrong hx style horn cap.
