My WB van is a strange combination of both. Engine and driveline is imperial but a lot of body bolts are metric and there is no pattern to where or when some are used.
Commodores were all metric except for engine/driveline until VL which was almost exclusively metric because of that imported engine.

Not sure about Gemini's but with full size Holdens it was a lot later than 1975 for sure.
